The show shows its overwhelming success in the entertainment world sweeping across the world popping up in regions it never would have existed before. The show has then had franchises sold all over the world even though its original version is based out of the United Kingdom. Thereafter, this show has further expanded its popularity worldwide.

In Australia, the show features four judges and its very first season began in late 2004. While in Austria, the version of Dancing of the stars features a total of three judges with two hosts handling the show with the successful season one hitting the airwaves in the fall of 2005.
Having a history record of five successful seasons, this show marches further in Brazil.
In the end of 2007, the first season of the show hit the airwaves in China, and this was intended to commemorate the anniversary of the handover of Hong Kong to the People’s Republic of China in the United Kingdom. This version of Dancing of the stars was released under a joint venture between mainland’s Hunan and Hong Kong’s TVB. It was reported that each station sent a total of five males and five females for competing with a total of 10 couples and 20 competitors. The actual matching was then handled by SMS for the purpose of voting prior to the beginning of the show.
During the autumn of 2004, the first season of the show was aired in Italy featuring a total of eight couples for its start. But, there were twelve couples all total for the season two series. The show featured fourteen couples for its third season and again it offered twelve couples in its fifth season.
In Finland, the show started during the spring of 2006 with both first and second season featuring eight couples. Two years later during the spring of 2008, ten couples took their roles in the third season.
The first season of Dancing of the stars began during the winter of 2006 in Czech Republic but the season two began a year later during the winter of 2007. Featuring eight couples and four judges in each season, the version of this show has been a success.
Started in the fall of 2006 in Estonia, the show was screening with eight couples including several politicians and its second season began on October 7, 2007.
In Denmark, after starting in the spring of 2005, the series began with seven couples and at the end of the fourth season there were eleven couples competing in the show. By 2007, a Christmas Gala featured six couples and there were three standard judges in the competition. Occasional guest judges also took their roles as well.
